Special Projects Division
(SPROD)
The Special Projects Division at Samoa Business Hub is dedicated to delivering customized training
programs and initiatives that cater to the specific needs of various groups within the community. Among
their offerings is the Small Business Operation Certificate Level 2, a six-month program accredited by
SQA. In addition, the division provides a range of short-term training opportunities in areas such as
Business Management, Customer Services, Business Planning, and Project Management. They also run
specialized projects like the Youth Business Incubator and ICT training programs tailored for women in
agriculture and people with disabilities. The division is also committed to continuous improvement
through Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) practices, ensuring their initiatives
are effective and impactful.
Our Objective
We aim improve small operators business skills and capacities and increase both level and coverage of financial literacy of Samoa’s population.

i. Samoa Agriculture Competitiveness Enhancement Project (SACEP) – Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries Matching Grant programme
ii. Green Climate Fund (GCF) Vaisigano Catchment Area – Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment the leadership of the Ministry of Finance.
iii. The Youth Employment Programme (YEP) – Ministry of Women Community and Social Development
iv. Seasonal Workers Pre-departure and Re-integration Programme – Ministry of Commerce Industry and Labour.
